"Buzzing in my ears" isn't the right name for my predicament. The medical term for my problem is Tinnitus. Tinnitus sufferers could hear several sounds, for instance :

* Clicking
* Hissing
* Whistling
* Roaring
* Rushing
* Waterfall-like sounds
* And more

In reality, a few sufferers may even suffer from hearing various different sounds on separate occasions!

Buzzing in my Ears - Top Tips:

Tip one: Steer clear of exposure (most importantly drawn out exposure) to very loud music or very loud noise of any variety to avoid getting buzzing noises in my ears.

Tip two: I put up with buzzing in my ears, but if you perceive buzzing in just one ear, you must talk to your practitioner as soon as possible, as it might be an indication of a growth. Although this is unusual, better safe than sorry!

Tip three: As I mentioned earlier, the "buzzing in my ears" is called Tinnitus by GP's. The American Tinnitus Association (ATA) recommends that you educate yourself on the subject of your condition via highly regarded sources.

Tip four: When I had a word with my medical practitioner about the buzzing in my ears, I ensured that I told him about all the drugs I was prescribed at the time. You should do the same. It is a recognized fact that tinnitus may be caused by certain medicines (for example huge quantities of aspirin.)

Tip five: After my GP let me know that she couldn't uncover a medical reason for the buzzing in my ears, I didn't despair. I already knew that I wasn't alone, and you are not on your own either! There are millions of tinnitus sufferers around the world (according to the American Tinnitus Association) and several of them have found a treatment for this irksome problem!

Tip six: The buzzing in my ears at a certain point was making me so reckless that I would have done whatever it took for just the possibility relief! Don't be deceived by fancy commercials! Regrettably there are persons around that target other people's misery, and tinnitus "cures" is big business!

Tip seven: Before I ran out and spent my hard earned cash, I made sure that I knew what the main cause of the buzzing in my ears was! What works for one type of tinnitus, won't work for another sort! The top three reasons for Tinnitus are:

* The buzzing in my ears can be due to injury caused by drawn out exposure to very loud noise or music (the ears cannot distinguish between the two, and both may bring about lingering ear noises.)
* The buzzing in my ears can be caused by stress
* Persistent Sinusitis could also bring about buzzing in my ears. The Chronic Sinusitis might be related to allergies or illness. If this is the situation, treating the Sinusitis ought to see to the ear noises too.

In case you're curious... in my case it is stress related!

Tip eight: Consumption of alcohol is believed to make the buzzing in my ears get worse. I was advised to be good to myself, but not with an alcoholic drink! Depending on my mood, these are a number of the things that help me relax; watching television, reading a book, immersing myself in a splendid bubble-bath, emailing or chatting to friends who know my circumstance and offer unconditional support and / or writing in my diary (clearly not all at the same time!)

Tip nine: This didn't aid me with the buzzing in my ears, but various individuals have found a bit of reprieve from the buzzing in their ears by using "masking CDs" (CDs of "relaxing background noise") to distract themselves from the tinnitus.

Tip Ten: I have saved the best for last; this helped me get rid of the buzzing in my ears. If you fancy getting rid of the buzzing in your ears (tinnitus) forever, follow the counsel of an ex tinnitus sufferer.
